Only God Knows

The most important thing is not to make an issue out of anything. There is no issue. No matter what, there is no issue. No more taking thought. I need to be purified and perfected. The only way to be empowered is to have no earthly distractions.

Always tell yourself "It's not an issue." It really is not an issue. It is an illusion. The Scripture says "be careful for nothing." Martha was very troubled at Mary for listening to Jesus instead of helping her with the chores. She was being careful for many things. She was troubled. There is no what-if. Blot it all out. Be pure. Take no thought for anything.

Do not be wise in your own ways. Don't say "It should be this way, then this way, and then bingo!" Instead say, "I don't know. I leave it all up to God. I am free from having to figure it all out." There is freedom in NOT knowing.

I may think I know what is good for me, but in reality, only God knows. I may know that I know that I know that such and such is just right for me, and that the Lord intends it for me, but that's only my OWN wisdom, and not God's. I have been proven wrong so many times. I have been one hundred percent certain that something was meant to be, and proven wrong like a fool. What does it say in the Bible? If someone is smart in this world, let them become a fool, that they may become wise. My answer should always be "I don't know." I DON'T want to say "This is it! This is the sign, this is the time that God has ordained!" The truth is, no matter what, I'm clueless.

Matthew 6:33 says to seek the kingdom of God first and all your desires will be added to you. If you want food and shelter, seek the kingdom of God. But take note, seeking the kingdom of God means to say "I don't care if my needs get met, I just want the treasure from your kingdom." In other words, "I don't care about the physical bread, I want the eternal bread." John 6:27 says "Labour not for the meat that perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life."

Do you see the universal theme? Make all your earthliness small, even nothing. And God will lift you up. James 4:10 says "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up." Again, make your self small, make all your earthly things, including ego, pride, vanity, etc. small. And the rest is up to the Lord. You don't have to do two things. You don't have to remove earthly things AND get yourself lifted up by God. All you have to do is just remove the earthly things, and God will lift you up Himself. Avoid the flesh, and that is the same as walking in the spirit. The spirit is the opposite of the flesh.
